Key Information for Year 1
Homework
Homework will be set each Friday and must be completed by the following Wednesday. It will include a Read, Write Inc. speed sounds video, 2 RWI reading books and a bedtime story book.
Reading Books
Children must ensure they bring their reading books into school every day and parents must make sure that their child’s reading records are kept up-to-date and signed each time they read.
PE
PE will be every Monday and Thursday. Therefore, please ensure children come into school wearing their PE kit for those days.
