Science
At Our Lady of Good Help, we recognise the importance of Science in every aspect of daily life and give the teaching and learning of Science prominence. Our Science curriculum ensures progressive learning and results in the acquisition of knowledge which enables children to become enquiry-based learners. By increasing pupils’ knowledge and understanding of our world, and by developing the enquiry skills associated with Science as a process of enquiry, we will enhance: the natural curiosity of the child; encourage respect for living organisms and the physical environment; and enable the children to think critically about their world.
