PE
At Our Lady of Good Help, we understand the vital role of Physical Education and Physical Activity plays in the development of life-skills and the promotion of physical and mental wellbeing as well as the impact this has on pupils’ achievement. We offer a broad and balanced P.E. curriculum underpinned by national curriculum requirements. We give our children opportunities to become independent, confident, healthy and active individuals allowing them to value teamwork, sportsmanship and competition to enhance life-long fitness and life choices through well-sequenced lessons. In these lessons, we focus on skill development leading to the application of skills and building tactical awareness. As a school, we encourage the children to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular clubs which supplement the PE curriculum and help to improve the lives of all children.
