Key Information for Year 2
Homework
Homework will be set each Friday and is due to be completed by the following Wednesday. It will include Read Write Inc. speed sounds videos, 2 RWI reading books, a bedtime story book and a spelling activity based on common exception words. Paper copies will be sent home and a reminder of what the homeowrk is will be displayed on Google Classroom.
Reading Books
Children must ensure they bring their reading books into school every day and parents must make sure that their child’s reading records are kept up-to-date and signed.
PE
PE will be every Monday and Thursday. Therefore, please ensure children come into school wearing their PE kit for those days.
